He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Leroy Massengill and Verna Beasley Woodall; his son Charles Lee Massengill; and his sisters, Ann Massengill and Becky Sue Massengill.
He is survived by: his wife Von Allen Massengill; his daughter Doris M. Woodall (Ronnie) of Benson; his grandchildren, Erin W. Reese (Kevin), John Robert Massengill, Mariah Sha Clark (Dylan) and Alex Woodall; his great grandchildren, Aiden Reese, Ellis Reese, Jaxon Clark and Willow Clark; and his sister Gwinda Hardee of Benson.
