She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Porter and Sallie Edwards Porter; her husband Carroll Westbrook Porter; and her siblings, Whitley Faison Porter and Dorothy Porter Flowers.
She is survived by: her children, Samuel Carroll Porter of Four Oaks and Gail Minchew (Marshall) of Four Oaks; her grandsons, Porter Allen Jones (Jenny) of Four Oaks and Marshall Neal Jones of Coats; and her great grandchildren, Waylon Porter Jones and Henry Carroll Jones of Four Oaks.
