He was predeceased by: his parents, Troy Pinkney and Annie Norris Byrd; his wife Margie Byrd; his daughter Pansy Arlene Byrd Grimes; his grandson William Gautier; and his sister Shelby Norris.
He is survived by: his son Todd Byrd of Four Oaks, NC; his grandchildren, Zachary Tidechild, Holli Gautier of Ashville, NC and Erin Byrd of Garner, NC; and his stepchildren, Tracy Wynn (Gus) of Four Oaks, NC. and Eddie Johnson (Teresa) of Four Oaks, NC..
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:45 PM at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Inc. (5820 U. S. Hwy 301 S, Four Oaks, NC 27524).
