He is survived by: his children, Tamera Sergent (Dean), James Tyler Creech and Steven D. Rogers (Johanna); his granddaughters, Rachel Hohlefelder (Robert) and Deana Smith (Brian); his great grandchildren, Evan Rogers, Christian Barbour, Hannah Smith, Preston Smith, Asher Smith and Madison Hohlefelder; his sister Lillie Esther "Peggy" Huber; and his nephews, Jeff Huber and Lance Huber.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home (5820 US-301, Four Oaks, NC 27524). A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Montlawn Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603). The military honors will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at the same location.
