With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willis Calvin Slaughter (Four Oaks, North Carolina), who passed away on March 29, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Slaughter and Polly Ivey Guin Slaughter; his son Mark Slaughter; and his siblings, Ruby Pearl Ramsey, Nettie Parker, Polly Slaughter, William David Slaughter and Willard Slaughter.
He is survived by: his children, Daryl Slaughter (Tamara) of Smithfield, NC and Susie Mae Johnston (Steven) of Kenansville, NC; his granddaughter Mara Benson (Aaron); his children, Marisa Hill, Harley Whaley (Stephen), Keely Stanley, Calvin Johnston and Cody Johnston; and his great grandchildren, Brantley Oldham, Layla Benson, Theodor Allen and Blakelee Benson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
