She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas Burton and Mary Edwards Burton. She is survived by: her son Cornell Fields; and her siblings, Melvin Burton, Earl Burton, Samuel Burton and Josephine Lightfoot.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Davis-Royster Funeral Service, Inc. (926 S Garnett St, Henderson, NC 27536). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM.
