Alice Pearl Wood Overton Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Pearl Wood Overton of Franklin, North Carolina, who passed away on November 28, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Wood and Lillie Sledge Wood; her husbands, Ebbie Martin, Bill Glover and Joe Overton; and her son Ebbie Bryant Martin III.

She is survived by: her daughter Cassandra Brooks (Tom) of Florida; her grandchildren, Amy Briggs of Zebulon and Andy Martin (Ann) of Michigan; her great grandchild Haley Briggs of Zebulon; her niece Ellen Marks (Jim); Laney, Lorna Marks and James Marks. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
