He is survived by: his sisters, Sue Ellen Owens Archambeault (Archie) and Mary Lou "Loopie" Owens Massey (James); and his siblings' children, Arlie Ronald Owens, Sharla Renee Owens, Arlene Owens Brancaccio, Denise Owens Shields (Kevin) and Joseph Victor Owens (Kimberly). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
