She was predeceased by : her father Rev. Wallace Eugene Tallent; and her brother James Keith Tallent. She is survived by : her husband Coleman Buchanan of Franklin, NC; her son Jesse Buchanan (Candace) of Clyde, NC; her grandson Oakley Buchanan; her aunt Betty Holland; and her uncle Harold Moore of Franklin. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
