She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sanders and Ethel Bailey Sanders; her husband Clyde Scott; and her son-in-law David Barlow. She is survived by: her daughters, Vickie Downs (Max), Linda Stewart (Steve), Teresa Martin (Dennis) and Donna Barlow. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and fourteen great-great-grandchildren, along with many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Watauga Baptist Church (658 Watauga Church Rd, Franklin, NC 28734). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at the Watauga Baptist Church Cemetery (658 Watauga Church Rd, Franklin, NC 28734).
