It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Sherrill (Franklin, North Carolina), born in Macon, North Carolina, who passed away on April 25, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, David Ansel Hall and Nina Bradley Hall; her husband Charles Daniel "Danny" Sherrill; her son Charles Lewis "Charlie" Sherrill; and her sister Nina Jean Cheek.

She is survived by: her children, Terrie Kendrick (Clyde) of Franklin, NC and Deidrea Dills (Richard) of Franklin, NC; her daughter-in-law Lisa Dills Sherrill of Hiawassee; and her siblings, Louanne Hart, Linda Boggs of Grey Hawk, Kentucky, Jim Hall of Michigan, Chuck "Max" Hall of Sylva, NC, David Hall, Jr. of Kissimmee, FL and Bobby Hall of Kissimmee, FL.. She is also survived by four grandsons; four granddaughters; and three great- grandchildren.

“In loving memory of Betty who served brilliantly as my Secretary at the Macon County Farmer's Market Cooperative many years ago. As we worked together, a beautuful friendship grew. I'm thankful to God that I decided to stop for a short visit the end of February. After years of losing touch, we had a delightful visit at which time I learned she had lost her Dan as well as her son. May Almighty God give her family peace and acceptance. She was a beautiful and talented soul!”
