It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Jean DeLong of Franklin, North Carolina, who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Roy James Houston and Carrie White Houston; her former life partner Grady Greene; and her brother Wayne Houston. She is survived by : her husband Harold Lee DeLong; her children, Kathleen Daum (Rick) and Mac Greene (Connie); her stepdaughter Susan DeLong; her grandson Zach Daum; her siblings, Elaine Shepherd (John), Willie Houston (Shelby) and David Houston; and her sister-in-law Sue Houston.
