With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chester Hope Stanley of Franklin, North Carolina, who passed away on February 17, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Monroe and Jesse Luna Franks Stanley; his wife Susie Carpenter Stanley; and his siblings, Mary Sue Ledford, Bonnie Holbrooks, Jean Stanley, James Stanley, Cecil Stanley, George Stanley, LeRoy Stanley, Frank Stanley, Bill Stanley and Fred Stanley.

He is survived by : his children, Charles "Chuckie" Stanley (Teresa) of Franklin, Melissa "Missy" Browning (Keith) of Franklin and Beverly Adams (Eddie) of Piedmont, SC; his brothers, Robert Stanley of Franklin and Harold Stanley of Franklin; his grandchildren, Chet Stanley (Heather), Katie Wiggins (Brad), Tyler Cook, Miranda Cook and Mekenzie Cook; and his great grandchildren, Pender, Maelee, Brenley, Casey, Sylvie, Kobe and Eli. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
