She was predeceased by: her parents, A. C. Banks and Mildred Collins Banks; and her husband Charles Southard. She is survived by: her children, Tony Southard (Emily), David Southard (Christie) and Sonya Southard; her granddaughter Emily Southard; her siblings, Vivian Grkovic and Adrian Banks; her sister-in-law Sherri Ross; and her pets, Memphis and Finley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Macon Valley Nursing Home, Appalachian Animal Rescue, or church of your choice.
