She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence McAlister and Margie McConnell McAlister; and her siblings, Carroll McAlister, Pat Fox and Shirley Cline.
She is survived by: her children, Eric Mayhew (Amy) of Franklin, NC and Lisa Ose of High Shoals, NC; her grandchildren, Jessie, Elizabeth, Cydney, Sam, Jacob and David; her great grandchildren, Coltley and Miles; her brother Leonard McAlister (Lori); and her friend Betsy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.
