He is survived by: his wife Pat Thomas; his daughter Ava Klatt; his stepson Jamie Barlow; and his siblings, Lonnie Thomas, Thelma Carpenter and Katie Rowland (Mitchell). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
