He is survived by: his mother Alice Dills Carter; his children, Eddie Moses (Michelle), Gina Moses (Sharon Lamb), Tonda Jenkins (George) and Guindy Stewman (Rusty); his siblings, Carmie Pruett (Tom), Connie Corbin (David), Charlene Norton and Sid Carter; his sister-in-law Doris Stamey; his grandchildren, Anna Thompson (Matt), Ashley Moses, Wayne Jenkins, Eddie Moses (Megan), Kennedy Stewman and Olivia Stewman; his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Lillie, Jordan, Logan, Max and Emily; his siblings' children, April Chastain and Brent Holbrooks; and his caregiver Karen Tallent.
