She was predeceased by: her parents, George McKinna and Zula Mae Galloway McKinna; her husband Paul Barnes; and her brother George Donald McKinna. She is survived by: her son Tommy Barnes of Bryson City, NC; her grandchildren, Stacey, Cathy and Regina Morgan; and her sisters, Ollie Lewis, Anne Edwards and Ruth McCoy. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
