It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Emma Jean Swafford of Franklin, North Carolina, born in Macon, North Carolina, who passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Bryant and Nannie Wilkes Bryant; her husband Robert Swafford; her sons, Jimmy Swafford and Ronald Swafford; and her siblings, Ola Rowland, Geneva Rowland, Lola Roper, Lois Roper, Virginia McClure, Lee Bryant and Ezell Bryant.
She is survived by: her sons, Eddie Swafford (Alyasa), Louis Swafford (Angela), Ricky Swafford (Sis) and Sandy Swafford; her daughter-in-law Diane Swafford of Franklin, NC; and her caregiver Alicia Fuentes. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
