With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Errol Wentworth Harkness of Franklin, North Carolina, born in Garden City, Kansas, who passed away on July 9, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Harkness and Thelma Coen Harkness; his sister Sharen Siegel; and his granddaughter Shannon. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Jeanne Thompson; his children, Michael Robert Harkness (Maria) of Altamont, FL, Kathleen Thelma McGrath (Eric) of Sugarhill, GA. and Karen Robbins (Eddie) of Franklin, NC; and his brother Gregory Harkness of Towner, CO. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Disabled Veterans or American Diabetes Association.
