She was predeceased by: her parents, Nancy Ann Patterson Ayscue and Nathan Nathaniel Ayscue; her husband Reuben Joseph Perkinson, Jr.; and her siblings, Lillian Baker, Dorothy Seiple, Owen Ayscue, Linwood Ayscue, Sterling Ayscue, Bo Ayscue, Larry Ayscue, Sr., Milton Ray Ayscue and Durwood Ayscue.
She is survived by: her son Darrell Wayne Perkinson (Shirley) of Henderson; her granddaughters, Jennifer Perkinson (Allen Pearce) of Henderson, Emily Green (Brian) of Henderson and Megan Perkinson (Marco Velazquez) of Henderson; her great grandchildren, Sadie Pearce, Justin Gregory, Wayne Velazquez and Isaac Velazquez; and her siblings, Catherine Ellington of Cary, Edna Mosley of Henderson and Wade Ayscue of Henderson.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the J. M. White Funeral Home (60 Zeb Robinson Rd, Henderson, NC 27536). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the White Funeral Home Chapel (60 Zeb Robinson Rd, Henderson, NC 27536).
