It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Irene Gregory of Franklin, North Carolina, who passed away on August 5, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid adieu to Evelyn's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Evelyn has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vance Holbrook and Eva Springs Holbrook; her husband Bruce Gregory; and her son Hoyt Gregory. She is survived by: her children, Sabrina "Sally" Gregory, Angie and Scott Cook. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren.
