Floyd Taylor Burns Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Floyd Taylor Burns of Franklin, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 29, 2026 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan Floyd Burns and Anna Jean Hughes Burns; and his sisters, Carolyn Burns, Kathy Battle and Charlotte Waldroup.

He is survived by: his wife Nathalie Knight Burns; his children, Chris Burns (Kellie), Marty Burns (Jodi), Jessica Clark (Rob), Sharon Knight (Danny Macias), Sarah Obenschain (Chris) and Liam Knight (Lanaya); his siblings, Jane Jenkins, Danny Burns (Mellie) and David Burns (Pat); his grandchildren, Jaylan Burns, Cayden Burns, Kyndell Adams, Andrew Burns and Samantha West; and his great grandchildren, Adelyn Burns, Wrenley Adams and Lilian West.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Four Seasons Hospice.
