With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Geraldine Heenan of Franklin, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 22, 2024 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Geraldine Heenan to pay them a last tribute.

In bidding Geraldine adieu, let us not mourn the silence that now fills the spaces Geraldine once occupied, but rather celebrate the vibrant colors she painted upon the canvas of our lives. For while she may have departed from this earthly realm, her spirit remains a beacon of light, guiding us through the darkest of nights.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Frederick William and Mary Byrnes Snyder; her husband Frank Peter Heenan; her son Frank Peter Heenan, Jr.; and her brother Frederick William Snyder, Jr..

She is survived by : her daughter Tracy Heenan; her son-in-law John Laurence Daw; her brother John Patrick Snyder; and her grandchildren, Laurence Byrnes Daw and Tierney Brienna Daw. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (1242 Old Murphy Rd, Franklin, NC 28734).

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Gerry's name to Hospice House Foundation of WNC-Franklin.
