It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gregory Dylan Sheppard (Franklin, North Carolina), born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 43, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Kara Carper; his parents, Greg (Sharon Rees) and Patricia Dettra (Michael Dettra); his brother Turrell; his half-sister Erika Huseman (Richmond Huseman); and his stepsiblings, Adam Gain, Morgan Rees (Chris Dunn), Christopher Rees, Michaela Rees and Sean Rees (Danielle Rees). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends.
