We bid farewell to James Ralph Ammons of Franklin, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 1, 2025 at the age of 95. James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Richard and Edith Faye Hughes Ammons; his wife Ethel Roper Ammons; and his siblings, Faye Needham, Earl Ammons, Loretta Moore and Anita Bateman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tava Mason (Bruce) and Sandra Ammons; his grandchildren, Seth Mason, Marissa Gray (Phillip) and Cody Stanley (Tiffany); and his great grandchildren, Auby, Gwen and Ethan Gray. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Shriners Children Hospital.
