James William Carpenter Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 14, 2025 we had to say goodbye to James William Carpenter of Franklin, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeb David and Alva Ledford Carpenter; his daughter Celia Diane Carpenter; and his brothers, Leon Carpenter and Ed "Buck" Carpenter.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Giles Carpenter; his sons, Tracy Carpenter (Janice) and Kevin "Bo" Carpenter (Lynn); and his siblings, Kenneth Carpenter (Audrey), Olivia Whitmore (Windell), Harold Carpenter, Wanda Cabe (Buck) and Charles Carpenter (Vickie). He is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (1242 Old Murphy Rd, Franklin, NC 28734).
