He is survived by : his wife Peggy Long Kirkland; his children, Matt Kirkland of Franklin, NC, Randy Kirkland of Danridge, TN, Lisa Rutherford of Tomball, TX and Betsy Cleveland of Winter Haven, FL; his stepsons, Buster Marrall, Jr. and Greg Marrall; and his siblings, Horace Kirkland of Auburndale, FL and Ellen Osborn of Tallahassee, FL.. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
