With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Stinson of Franklin, North Carolina, who passed away on April 14, 2024 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Stinson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Stinson and Elva Waldroop Stinson; his son Jonathan Trent Stinson; and his brothers, Earl Stinson Jr. and Tommy Stinson.

He is survived by : his daughter Christy Cabe (Doug) of Otto; his siblings, Susie McConnell (Dee) of Franklin and Tim Stinson (Natalie) of Spartanburg, SC; his granddaughters, Kimberly Cates, Kayla Cabe Higdon (Tanner) and Lydia Cabe; and his great grandchild Gavin Cates. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Macon Funeral Home (261 Iotla St, Franklin, NC 28734). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
