He was predeceased by : his parents, John Cling and Paris Jervis Anderson. He is survived by : his wife Margaret May Anderson; his daughters, Paula Anderson Cabe (James Ray Anders) of Franklin, NC, Darlene Anderson Epley (Carl) of Marion, NC and Marlene Anderson-Roden (Keith) of Fletcher, NC; his grandson Chad Cabe (Katelynn Loftin) of Franklin, NC; his stepgrandchildren, Maggie Roden Owens (Brent) of Kalispell, MT and Brock Roden of Eagle River, AK; his great grandchildren, Brady and Lyla Owens; his brother Gerald Locke Anderson; and his nephew Daniel Anderson of Barnardsville, NC. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
