She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Fred Simpson and Audrey Simpson; her husband Andy Shields; her children, Stephen (Betsy), Mark (Laura) and Kathryn (Tyler); her grandchildren, Kelsey, Kirsey, Kaleb, Sam, Nicholas, Abram, Andrew and Anna Kate; and her siblings, Glenn, Diane and Laura.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Macon Funeral Home (261 Iotla St, Franklin, NC 28734). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
