He is survived by: his children, Jessie Mal Cowart and Morgan Corissa Cowart; his grandchildren, Hunter Humphries and McKenzie Humphries; his sister Teresa Hall (Doug) of Asher, KY; his sister-in-law Marcella Cowart; his niece Angelica Cowart; and his nephews, Brandon Cowart, Ryan Cowart and Donald Hall.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Macon Funeral Home (261 Iotla St, Franklin, NC 28734). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
