He is survived by: his children, Nathan and Tonia Maddox Edwards of Whittier; his grandchildren, Savanna, Sarah Maddox of Franklin and Samuel Edwards of Whittier; his brother Rodney Maddox of Wake Forest; his daughters, Maria, Marina and Cristina; his great-nieces, Alympia and Lara of Raleigh; his sister-in-law Kay LeQuire Adams of Creedmoor; his niece Connie Adams Boone (Rodney); and his great-niece Erin Casey Boone (Lee).
