He was predeceased by: his father Max Morgan; and his stepfather William "Bill" Houston. He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Houston; his wife Jeanna Rice Morgan; his children, Nathan W. Morgan and Marina L. Morgan (David); his grandchildren, Justin and Ryder Talley; and his siblings, Michael Houston (Amanda) and Melissa Wallace (Jeff). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Macon Funeral Home (261 Iotla St, Franklin, NC 28734).
