With solemn reverence, we commemorate Kenneth Shepherd Sr. (Franklin, North Carolina), whose life came to an end on October 28, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Shepherd and Lola Shepherd; and his siblings, John, Robert, Raymond, Steve Shepherd, Jan Younce and Minnie Talley.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Shepherd; his sons, Kenneth Dooley Shepherd (Tammy) and Michael Shepherd (Pam); his grandchildren, Brandan (Rebecca), Tyler (Allison), Tanner (Laikan Brown) and Tate (Hunter Austin); his great grandchildren, Everleigh, Hudson, Wrenlee, Cameron, Paislee and Raiyah; and his siblings, Betty Tallent and Rod Shepherd (Maxine).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Macon Funeral Home (261 Iotla St, Franklin, NC 28734). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at the Iotla Methodist Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Iotla Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
