He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McKinley Blanton and Bonnie Bridges Blanton; and his sister Hazel Laws. He is survived by: his brothers, John Blanton (Lucille) of Goose Creek, SC and Don Blanton (Jody) of Franklin; his children, Keith Blanton of New Market, TN and Robbie Blanton of Franklin; his grandchildren, Michael Pruett of Leicester and Dawn Batton (Ronald) of Franklin; his great grandchild Isabella Batton; and his former wife Alice Pearce Blanton (Barbara Walsh) of Marble. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
