Merle Othelle Perry, 96, passed away on October 27, 2026 at Franklin Oaks in Louisburg, NC. Merle was born on October 15, 1930 to the late Odie Branch Perry Sr.and Stancy Pearce Perry . Merle was preceded in death by her brothers, O.B. Perry Jr. and Zane Perry.

Merle is survived by her nephews, Marty Perry (Julie) and Brian Perry; her niece, Amanda Lewis; and her great-niece, Ashton Richards (Jesse).

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, November 2, 2026 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Youngsville, NC , with Rev. Harry Upchurch officiating.
