She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sterling and Gladys Walker Sterling; her husband Edwin Charles Chapman, Sr.; and her siblings, Ruth Sterling Prementine and John Sterling.
She is survived by: her children, Edwin Chapman Jr. (Michele) of Leesburg, VA, Paula Jernigan Byrd of McDavid, FL and Tammy Buckner (Brian) of Jacksonville, FL; her grandchildren, Craig, Heather, Lauren (Edwin), Ashley (Jose), Edwin III (Erika), Brian Jr. (Brittani) and Jordan; and her great grandchildren, Lily, Mateo, Jacob and Brysen.
