Peggy will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fleatus Farabee and Velma Jenkins Farabee; her former husband James C. Tate; and her children, Susan Dean Sanders and Craig Farabee Tate.
She is survived by: her husband John Guyman; her sons, Steven Burrell Tate and James Scott Tate (Vicki); and her grandchildren, Nicole Tate, Cody Tate, Taylor Saunders, Brian Tate and Michelle Lawson.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bryant-Grant Funeral Home (105 W Main St, Franklin, NC 28734).
