We are sad to announce that on July 7, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Richard William Coan of Franklin, North Carolina, born in Washington, District of Columbia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Norman and Angela Splendora Coan. He is survived by : his children, Richard Gerard Coan of Raliegh, NC and Jennifer Barrett of Naples, FL; and his grandchildren, Kyle, Ashley and Chad. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the VVA Chapter 994, 249 Sloan Road, Franklin, NC 28734.
