He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Edgar Hicks and Catherine Hicks; his grandparents, Arthur and Martha Jane Waters Hicks; his granddaughter Crystal Levinar; and his siblings, Elizabeth Ann Passmore and James Edward Hicks.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Levinar (James), Pamela Parrish and Larry Hicks of North Carolina; and his brothers, Bobby and Mitchel Hicks of Franklin. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
