With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Ruble of Franklin, North Carolina, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 25, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Ruble and Charlotte Kroll Ruble. He is survived by : his significant other Brenda Jacobs; his daughters, Cheryl Holewinski of Racine, WI and Christine Fischer (James) of Lindstrom, MN; his grandchildren, CJ, Braden, Ben, Sam, Claire and Taite; and his siblings, Rita and Ray (Kay). He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Appalachian Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 81, Franklin, NC 28744.
