She was predeceased by: her parents, George Jones and Lola Hastings Jones; her husband Hershel Emerson Williamson; her son Alton Emerson Williamson; and her pet Misty Rose.

She is survived by: her children, Patsy Williamson of Sylva, NC and Charles Williamson (Lydia) of Franklin, NC; her daughter-in-law Betsy Shepherd (Kent) of Franklin, NC; and her grandchildren, Grant Williamson (Cheyenne), Brent Shepherd (Nicole), Brandon Webb, Tammy Justice (James), Ethan Hitchcock, Jana Hitchcock, Michelle Williamson and Amanda Vernon (Robert). She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Burnningtown Church of God (7485 Lower Burningtown Rd, Franklin, NC 28734).
