With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Lee Ann Lenihan of Franklin, North Carolina, born in Newark, New Jersey, who passed away on March 8, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Shaffer and Frances Yager; and her spouse Thomas P Lenihan Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Veronica L. Kise of Franklin, John T Lenihan (Stephanie) of Sussex, NJ and Sharon Ann Tippett (Chuck) of Franklin; her brother Garry Pyszka of Waynesville; and her grandchildren, John Charles DePuy, Thomas H DePuy, Jamie L. DePuy, Taryn Lenihan of Kirby Lenihan, J. T, Elizabeth Fincanon, Courtney Hurst and Megan Reeves. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Macon Funeral Home to assist the family with expenses.
