We are sad to announce that on November 21, 2025, at the age of 78, Shirley Bowman of Franklin, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff Calloway and Ruth Cordelia Mchann Calloway; and her siblings, Delia Bunch, Elizabeth Geames, Mary Helen Norman, Larry G. Calloway and Robert D. Calloway.
She is survived by: her husband Mitchell Bowman; her children, Marian Bullock and Russell Bowman; her siblings, Debra Russell and Jim L. Calloway; and her close friends, Betty Rogers, Joyce Bishop and Sue Johnson. She is also survived by three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Macon Funeral Home (261 Iotla St, Franklin, NC 28734). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Macon Funeral Home (261 Iotla St, Franklin, NC 28734).
