He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman and Alta Davis Elders; his siblings, Emogene Dills, Macy Dills, Barbara Anderson, Cecil Elders and Houston Elders; his grandson Samuel Crane; and his son-in-law Will Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Doris Elders; his daughters, Karen Crane (Rick), Alisha Stewart (Daniel Swafford) and Amber Dunn (Ryan); his siblings, Joyce Berry (Andy), Ralph Dellis Elders and Gary Elders (Wanda); and his grandchildren, Zachary Crane, Xander Crane (Alex), Abby Stewart (Dakota), Eli Stewart, Maggie Dunn and Raylon Dunn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Gideons International.
