He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward Hackett and Margaret Lawing Hackett; and his brother Jeffrey David Hackett. He is survived by: his wife Brenda S. Hackett of Franklin; his brother James Michael Hackett of Mooresville; and his cousins, Tommy Ross (Lori) of Waxhaw and Donna Ford (Vernon) of Lexington. He is also survived by nephews, one special niece; and two great nieces.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holly Springs Baptist Church (417 Holly Springs Church Rd, Franklin, NC 28734). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Holly Springs Baptist Church Operation Christmas Child Ministry or Samaritan's Purse.
