He was predeceased by: his parents, William Holden and Bertha Woods Holden; his son William Trevor Holden; and his siblings, Jo Ann Bell, Andy Holden, Melvin Holden and Ralph Holden.

He is survived by: his wife Celia M. Holden; his children, Shelly Barrett, Daniel Baldwin and Stephanie Holden Ledford; his grandchildren, Josh Barrett, Callie Baldwin, Isaiah Baldwin, Brady Baldwin and Holden Robinson; his great grandchildren, Ellis Barrett and Harlan Barrett; and his siblings, Lonnie Holden, Fannie Furness, Cora Shope and Hattie Young.
