She was predeceased by: her parents, Lake Randolph and Ova Mae Hastings Ledford; her stepmother Ruth Anderson Ledford; her husband William Carey VanHook; and her siblings, Ben Ledford, Linda Watson, Johnny Ledford and David Ledford.
She is survived by: her children, Billy VanHook, Jeana Hand (Jeff) of Roebuck, SC, James VanHook (Leslie) and Janet Newsom (Preston) of Clarkesville, GA; her siblings, Wayne Ledford, Sylvia "Tootsie" Spell, Liz Ledford, Jim Ledford, Bonnie Shirley, Debi Ledford and Joey Ledford; her grandchildren, Cara McClure, Amelia Jones, Cory Dills, Anthony Capaforte, Candace Dills, Jared VanHook and Josh VanHook; and her great grandchild Carson Phillips. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
