He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Britt Bowman and Patricia Louise Cope Bowman; his brother Charles Wendell Bowman; his wife Joyce Bowman; his siblings, Morlan Bowman (Helen) and Mary Sears (Guy); and his grandchildren, Britt Cochran (Chloe), Caleb Cochran (Hanna), Hunter Bowman and Peyton Bowman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
